Hierarchy:
Information architecture, or hierarchy, denotes the way in which you organize content across a website or app. It is an important visual design principle that designers use to show the importance of elements in a screen. To show the important information in a page, it is important to look out for these characteristics:
Size: elements that are larger than others
Colors: users tend to pay more attention to brighter colors.
Contrast

Repetition
White space
With all these characteristics, typography and colors that best communicate to the user should be used.
Consistency:
Consistency in design is about making every elment in the interface look uniform. when there is consistency in design, users would learn to use your website effortlessly. It eliminates confusion. Having inconsistent interface is like trying to communicate with the user in several languages. Only the advanced users will be able to finish their tasks. Keep it simple and consistent.
Accessibility:
This explains how many people can use an interface. This involves designing for people with various types of disabilities, such as vision, hearing, mobility, cognitive. The need of people with disabilities are considered here. It ensures they find it easy to navigate abd complete a task while using the interface.
